Physician Ram K. Reddy, M.D. Dr Reddy is one of the two physicians here at Yuva. He specializes in Internal Medicine and Geriatrics. He understands the metabolism and process of aging. He has been in practice for 25 years with focus on diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular diseases, and preventive medicine. He was awarded the Diabetes and Cardiovascular Research Award by the Georgia Diabetes Coalition. He has been certified in use of lasers, Botox, and fillers for facial rejuvenation. He participated various seminars by well known aesthetic physicians including Dr Obagi.

Spa Director Ashley Housworth Ashley oversees the daily operations of the spa and provides a variety of services for the wellness programs. She has a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science / Wellness, a certification from the NSCA as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist and is currently pursuing her Master’s of Science in Adult Education / Administration.

Medical Aesthetician Dina LaFera Dina has been a practicing licensed aesthetician for 14 years in the Atlanta area and now in Athens.  She has dedicated herself to learning and educating her clients about the latest technology and treatments in skin care. Outside of work Dina enjoys preparing Italian cuisine for family and friends and loves spending time in her herb and flower garden.

Licensed Massage Therapist Shana Scott Shana is a Georgia Native who has over 11 years of massage therapy experience. Her expertise includes providing therapy for professional athletes, medical massage for specific injuries and pain management, as well as corporate wellness massage. Shana also has a Bachelor of Science in Health Promotion & Wellness from Kennesaw State University, and completed her massage training at The University of Alaska. She has a heart for helping people achieve a better quality of life. In her spare time Shana enjoys healthy cooking, music, dancing for fitness, and spending time with her husband and son.

Registered Nurse Christina Opel After becoming a Registered Nurse to further promote wellness, Christina became a certified Laser Aesthetician and Sclerotherapist, focused on skin care management. With over 10 years of healthcare related experience, her background includes medical-surgical patient care, Urgent Care, Women’s Health, and Adult Health with a specialization in stroke and heart attack prevention. She is dedicated to treating unwanted hair, cellulite, spider and varicose veins, broken capillaries, acne, sun damage, age spots, wrinkles, rosacea, and tired, aging skin. She enjoys building one-on-one relationships with clients, facilitating the process of mind and body rejuvenation. Outside of work, Christina enjoys spending time with her husband, three pets, and organic garden.

Front End Manager Jessica Howard Jessica runs the daily operations of the spa and is responsible for booking appointments and providing a hospitable environment for all of our clients. When you come in to the spa, Jessica will greet you with a smile and a beverage. Jessica has a received her BFA in Scientific Illustration from the University of Georgia.
